after Care
Waxing Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential for maintaining healthy, smooth skin after your wax. Please follow these guidelines to protect your skin and prevent irritation:
Avoid heat and friction (24–48 hours)
Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, and strenuous exercise that may cause sweating or friction in the waxed area.
Wear loose clothing
Choose loose-fitting clothing to reduce irritation and allow your skin to breathe.
Limit sun exposure
Avoid tanning beds and direct sunlight for at least 24 hours. If you must be outdoors, apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to exposed areas.
Avoid harsh or scented products
Do not use perfumes, lotions, exfoliants, or other scented or active products on the waxed area for 24–48 hours. Stick to gentle, fragrance-free options.
Keep the area clean
Wash gently with mild, unscented soap and cool water. Avoid scrubbing or using hot water on freshly waxed skin.
Moisturize regularly
After 48 hours, begin moisturizing daily with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion to keep your skin soft and hydrated.
Exfoliate carefully
Wait at least 48 hours before exfoliating. Use a gentle exfoliant or soft washcloth to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smoothness.
Avoid sexual activity (24–48 hours)
Give the skin time to recover and avoid potential irritation or infection.
Maintain your routine
You made it through the hardest part - your first appointment! Now, consistency is key. Regular waxing helps minimize discomfort and keeps your skin smoother for longer.
