Accutane Policy Individuals who are currently using or have recently used Accutane CANNOT receive waxing services on any part of the body. If it has been less than six months sine your last dodge, you must provide a doctor's note before His + Hers Waxing will service you. If it has been more than six months, service will be at the Esthetician's discretion. If at any point during the service your skin appears compromised, the appointment will be terminated immediately Acknowledgment* I acknowledge that I cannot receive waxing services if I am currently using or have recently used Accutane as per the provided guidelines. Retin-A, Retinol, AHA, BHA & other Active Ingredients Waxing may NOT be performed on individuals using products that include but not limited to: - Retin-A -Retinol -Glycolic Acid -Alpha/Beta Hydroxy Acids These ingredients increase skin sensitivity and can cause skin lifting or tearing during waxing. Additionally, certain oral and topical medications (e.e, acne treatments, antibiotics steroids and blood thinners) can have similar effects, making skin more vulnerable to injury. It is your responsibility to disclose any medications you are taking to you Esthetician before you service. Acknowledgment* I acknowledge that I must inform my esthetician if I use products like Retin-A, Retinol, Glycolic acid, or AHA/BHA, which may affect waxing. Skin Sensitivity, Allergies & Waiver of Liability Waxing may cause temporary redness, swelling, breakouts, or ingrown hairs. Individuals with allergies to adhesives or skincare ingredients may experience adverse reactions. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, it is your responsibility to inform your esthetician before your service. Even with the utmost care, skin lifting, tears and bruising or hyperpigmentation may occur due to no fault of the Esthetician, especially for individuals using certain medications or skincare products that increase skin sensitivity. It should also be noted that Waxing products may stain clothing. If a client has concerns about how their skin may react to waxing, our Esthetician's can provide a test patch wax and have the client return in 7 days to observe how their skin reacts to the wax and products. Please note that we are licensed estheticians, not doctors of dermatology, and therefore cannot diagnose or foresee some skin issues. Zero Tolerance Policy For all waxing services involving the genital area, are waxing services ONLY. His + Hers Waxing maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate, crude or suggestive behavior during any waxing service. Additionally, we do not tolerate rude, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior toward our staff. We are committed to providing a safe and professional environment for both clients and staff. If at any point an Esthetician feels uncomfortable or believes that a boundary has been crossed, the following actions will be taken: - The Service will be stopped immediately - You will be backed to leave the premises - Your information will be reported to the local authorities, If necessary. - You will be permanently banned from our salonAcknowledgment* I acknowledge that I will maintain respectful behavior, and I understand the salon’s zero-tolerance policy . Post-Wax Care & Restrictions For 24 hours after waxing, avoid: - Hot tubs, swimming pools, UV Tanning beds, and sun exposure. -Sexual activity, excessive sweating, frictions or tight clothing. We CANNOT wax skin that has been exposed to UV rays in the last 24-48 hours or appears sunburnt. Cancellation & No Show Policy His & Hers Waxing requires 24 hours notice for any cancellations, rescheduling or changes to your appointment. If less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file or invoiced through our booking system that will notify you until paid. This fee must be paid before we will book you again. No show policy: 1st No-Show: Fee of 50% 2nd No-Show: Fee of 100% 3rd No-Show: Permanent Client Ban An appointment is considered a "No-Show" if: - You provide less than 1 hour's notice to cancel/reschedlule - You arrive 10-15 minutes late, and your esthetician no longer has time to complete the service. Your appointment time is valuable, and last-minute cancellations leave us unable to accommodate other clients and fill the spot. Salon Policies - Children: For the comfort and safety of all clients, please do not bring your children to your appointment. - Photography & Social Media: If your esthetician requests to take before/after photos or videos, you have the right to opt-out.
